The most common Dodge car badge can be found in the United States of America. This is due to the fact that this manufacturer is the largest supplier to the automotive market in the United States. Dodge was producing mass-produced parts already in 1900. Customer confidence is due to the long history of the brand, but few people know how exactly the Dodge logo appeared. Foundation of Dodge Company

In 1899, brothers Horace and John Dodge created a factory for the production of bicycles. However, due to industrialization in the United States and the development of industry, automobile companies were gaining in popularity. For the sake of increasing profits, a new company called Dodge Brothers Incorporated was created as early as 1900. In the same year, the organization began mass production of components for cars.

1914 marked Dodge Brothers Incorporated's transition from parts production to full production of complete passenger cars. This led to the question of rebranding the company. The new badge included a circle with two inverted triangles facing each other inside. At the base of these triangles were two letters - DB, which stood for Dodge Brothers. Visually, this emblem looks like a star of David. It was taken exactly this decision, as it is associated with the homeland of the Dodge brothers.

Modernization of the Dodge emblem

From 1932 to 1955, the dodge emblem was modernized twice. The first time it was changed was in 1932. A statue of a mountain ram was attached to the cars put on sale, making them look like premium cars. The second time the Dodge logo was changed in 1948, from the statuette of a mountain sheep moved to the badge.

From 1955 to 2010, the history of the dodge logo changed five times:

• 1955 marked by the disappearance of the mountain ram's head from the logo;
• 1962 - Fratzog logo with three arrowheads that formed a triangle;
• 1982 - painted in bright red, a five-pointed star;
• 1994 remembered the return to the 1948 logo, when the logo was based on a mountain ram's head;
• From 2010 to today, the DODGE emblem has a chrome lettering with two stripes on the end.

These changes were due to a natural upgrade. It was also a consequence of subordination to Chrysler, at that time a larger auto giant in the U.S. car market.
