Cleaning the air conditioner filter

Before you start cleaning filters, the equipment is turned off from the power grid. It is necessary to wait about 15 minutes so that the parts of the equipment cool down. Then follow these steps:

• Remove the cover of the indoor unit.
• Remove the mesh filters.
• If the system has an ionizer, it is removed by holding the frame.
• To remove dirt, you can use a vacuum cleaner or a damp cloth soaked in a detergent without chlorine.
• After cleaning, the filters should be dried at room temperature. Do not expose them to hot air or direct sunlight. This may deform them.
• The filters are installed in the air conditioner.

Cleaning of the heat exchanger of the internal unit of the air conditioner

What is done when cleaning the heat exchanger:

• The cover of the plastic case is removed.
• If there is not much dirt, it is necessary to remove dust, you can use a vacuum cleaner with a round brush on the hose. It is important to be careful not to crush the heat exchanger parts.
• After cleaning, the housing cover is put back in place.

The pipe is blown out, a special antiseptic composition is introduced into the system for 15-20 minutes. It eliminates deposits. This composition is replaced with clean water for rinsing and purged, using high pressure. It is recommended to call a master for such works.

To remove contaminants from the external unit of the air conditioner, remove all removable parts. This is the top cover, metal casing and grille. For cleaning, it is better to use a mobile car wash. It is important to make sure that the water does not get on the electrical system of the device. Therefore, the electrical box is covered with a film beforehand. Removed housing parts are also washed and installed back. Before turning on the air conditioner, it is necessary for the external unit to dry out completely from the inside. In dry weather it takes 10-12 hours.
