Thus, Xbox Series S owners will be able to seamlessly run new products on their consoles even when the console itself loses support, so at this point it seems to us the right decision is a draw.

Life cycle and lifespan of gaming consoles

This aspect we decided to express in a comparison of consoles without Internet and for what it is necessary - we have already mentioned in the previous paragraph. Indeed, with the internet and streaming, the Xbox Series S console essentially offers the same as the flagship, but the console needs the internet to do so. If you take the Internet out of the equation it appears that the Xbox Series S has at best enough capacity for a few years - while the hardware used in the Xbox Series X will be enough for 5-8 years.
